HEP SSA awardee meeting
On the 23rd July 2020, a virtual meeting was organized by the Royal Academy of Engineering with all their awardees, during the timeframe 10:45-13:30 (BST). The objective of the meeting was to discuss various matters leading to the success of the HEP SSA programme.
During the meeting all awardees were given the opportunity to introduce themselves and their projects. The awardee’s introduction was followed by a presentation on the following topics:
- Adapting projects in light of COVID-19
- How to maximise relationship with UK partners
- How to maximise relationship with industry partners
- Sustainability beyond the two-year grant – is this realistic?
The lead speakers on these topics were the awardees selected by the Royal Academy of Engineering. Twenty minutes were allocated to each session of which 5 minutes were spent on the presentation by the lead speaker, and 15 minutes were reserved for the open discussion with all the participants.
